Terms & Conditions

Tarshih is currently operated by an individual entrepreneur based in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, providing services under the Kingdom's freelance work document framework. Tarshih is not, at this time, a separately incorporated company. References in these Terms to "we", "us", or "Tarshih" mean the individual operator trading as Tarshih.

Tarshih operates under Freelancing Practitioner Certificate No. FL-547870023, issued by the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to Abdulmalik Yousef Mohammedrabi Hawsawi under the Specialized Services category, Software Engineering specialty, valid from 15 July 2026 to 15 July 2027. We intend to keep this section updated if our legal structure changes, for example upon incorporation, and any such change will not reduce your rights under these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher, and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using Tarshih, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with the laws that apply to you, including any local restrictions on online contracting, data transfer, or payments.

Tarshih uses artificial intelligence, including third-party AI models from providers such as OpenAI and Google (Gemini), to help you create, upgrade, and tailor resumes (CVs) and cover letters against specific job descriptions, in English or Arabic, and to surface related job postings and applicant tracking system (ATS) and job-match scoring for informational purposes.

The Service is provided on a credit basis. Each generated application (a tailored CV and matching cover letter) consumes credits from your account, at a rate that may differ by language, as described on our pricing page. We may update credit costs, features, or the mechanics of the Service from time to time; material changes will be reflected on the pricing page and, where required, communicated to you in advance.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it, except to the extent caused by our failure to secure the Service.

Notify us immediately at support@tarshih.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, are used to violate these Terms, or are inactive for an extended period, subject to Section 12 (Termination).

Tarshih offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers (currently Pro and Elite), each with a monthly credit allotment, as well as one-time pay-as-you-go credit packs. Current pricing, credit allotments, and features are shown on our pricing page and form part of these Terms by reference.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Upgrading to a higher tier takes effect immediately and you may be charged a prorated amount. Downgrading or cancelling a subscription does not take effect immediately: your current plan and any remaining credits stay active until the end of the current billing cycle, at which point the new (lower or free) tier applies. On a downgrade specifically, any credits you have not used carry over and are added to the new tier's allotment at renewal, rather than being reset; ordinary month-to-month renewals with no tier change reset to that tier's fixed monthly allotment and do not accumulate indefinitely. You may reverse a scheduled downgrade or cancellation at any time before it takes effect.

Pay-as-you-go credit packs are one-time purchases that do not expire on a monthly cycle, but Tarshih is not obligated to preserve unused credits indefinitely if your account is terminated under Section 12.

Where we run a limited-time promotional price (for example, a founding-member discount restricted to a set number of subscribers), the discounted price applies only to eligible subscribers who purchase during the offer and is honored for as long as the qualifying subscription remains continuously active. Allowing a qualifying subscription to lapse, cancel, or downgrade to Free and later resubscribing may result in the then-current standard price applying instead. We may end a promotional offer once its stated capacity is reached or its stated period ends, without affecting subscribers who already locked in the price.

Card payments are processed on our behalf by a licensed third-party payment provider through its own secure, PCI-compliant checkout. Tarshih is the seller for every purchase made through the Service: you contract directly with us, we set and display the price on our pricing page, and we remain responsible for delivering the Service, answering billing questions, and issuing any refund due under this Section or our Refund & Exchange Policy. We do not see or store your full card number; the payment details you enter at checkout are handled by the payment provider under its own terms of use and privacy policy, which are identified to you at the time of payment. Where value added tax or a similar transaction tax applies to your purchase, it will be shown or accounted for at checkout in accordance with applicable Saudi tax requirements.

Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise, fees already paid and credits already consumed are non-refundable. If a technical failure on our part prevents the Service from delivering a paid-for generation (for example, a credit is deducted but no document is produced), contact support@tarshih.com and we will restore the credit or, at our discretion, issue a refund for that specific charge.

Under Saudi Arabia's e-commerce regulations, consumers generally have a right to withdraw from an online purchase within a set period. That right does not apply to digital content or services that are not supplied on a tangible medium once performance has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal.

By purchasing a subscription or a pay-as-you-go credit pack and generating at least one tailored document with it, you expressly request that we begin performing the Service immediately and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends once that generation is delivered, to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you have not yet used any credit from a purchase, contact support@tarshih.com within a reasonable time and we will review the request in line with applicable consumer protection law.

You retain ownership of the CVs, job descriptions, and other material you upload or paste into Tarshih ("Your Content"), and of the tailored documents Tarshih generates for you based on it.

You grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, process, and transmit Your Content, including to the third-party AI and infrastructure providers described in our Privacy Policy, solely to operate and improve the Service and for no other purpose. This license ends when Your Content is deleted from our systems, subject to the retention terms in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the right to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe any third party's rights or violate any law.

Tarshih is designed to reframe and present information you actually provided, and our pipeline includes a fact-checking step intended to prevent invented experience, credentials, or dates. However, AI systems can make mistakes, and we do not guarantee that generated content is free of errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

You are solely responsible for reviewing every generated CV, cover letter, ATS score, gap analysis, and job match before relying on it or submitting it to any employer. Do not submit a document you have not personally reviewed and confirmed to be accurate.

We do not guarantee that use of the Service will result in interviews, job offers, ATS pass-through with any specific employer's system, or any other employment outcome. Similar-job suggestions are informational and are not job offers, endorsements, or guarantees of eligibility.

You agree not to: (a) submit false credentials, fabricated experience, or documents intended to defraud an employer or third party; (b) use the Service to build a profile of, impersonate, or harass another person; (c) attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract our models, prompts, or underlying systems; (d) probe, disrupt, or place excessive load on the Service, including via automated means; (e) resell or provide commercial access to the Service without our written permission; or (f) use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section, in addition to any other remedy available to us.

The Tarshih name, logo, website, dashboard, and underlying software, workflows, and design are our property or that of our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights in our brand or technology beyond the limited right to use the Service as intended.

Feedback you voluntarily send us about the Service may be used by us without restriction or compensation to you.

Delivering the Service relies on third-party providers, including AI model providers (currently OpenAI and Google Gemini) and search providers used to tailor documents and surface similar jobs, an authentication and database provider, and a licensed third-party payment provider that processes card payments made through the Service on our behalf. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and, where applicable, data processing agreements, as described further in our Privacy Policy. We select providers with appropriate safeguards but are not responsible for outages or failures caused solely by a third-party provider outside our control.

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights regarding it, and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described there.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings or by emailing support@tarshih.com.

We may suspend or terminate your account, with notice where practicable, if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; unused pay-as-you-go credits and any remaining subscription period are forfeited except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly provided under Section 5.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 9, 14, 15, and 16) continue to apply after your account is closed.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tarshih will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, employment opportunity, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising from or related to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the six months preceding the claim, or (b) 100 SAR.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for our gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.

You agree to indemnify and hold Tarshih harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from Your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right, except to the extent caused by our own breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your place of residence.

Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@tarshih.com; most issues can be resolved directly and faster than through formal proceedings.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization or transfer of the business operating Tarshih. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and the pricing page, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
